Objective Assessment of the Cooling Function of Textile Products

To determine the cooling power of fabrics, the heat release tester WATson was developed and used in the research project Aif 18929. With WATson, the cooling power of cooling materials can determine and compare. However, the cooling power do not give any information about the perception of the human body and the achieved cooling effect. The aim of the project was to achieve data from subsect trials to correlate WATson data with the real situation.
