Using 3D Scanning to create 4D Motion Data for clothing simulation

This presentation from the 3D BodyTech Conference 2020 shows how to use 3D Scanning to create 4D Motion Data for clothing simulation.

There are different approaches for the generation of movements. The most common one is rigging, but this has problems in the representation of surface changes. The method presented here shows how 3D scans and rigging technology can be used to generate 4D motion data from surface changes such as muscle movements.
